Solar Battery Rebates

From 1 July 2025, the Australian Federal Government is available as part of the Cheaper Home Batteries Program to make battery storage more affordable.

  • Unlock up to $19,000 back on a solar battery (depending on the size of the system). This rebate is no longer means tested based on household income.
  • Reduces the price of batteries by 30% of the upfront cost, or up to $372 per usable kilowatt-hour (kWh).
