Before Your Consultation: Key Details to Help You Prepare
We’re really looking forward to your consultation with us. Before we meet, we require photos of your property and key details which can be found easily on your power bill before the consultation. These help our team assess your site, identify installation requirements, and give tailored advice.
You’ll find example images on this page — please upload your photos before your scheduled call.

information we need from your power bill
To design the right solar and battery system for your home — including rebate eligibility, system size, and expected savings — we’ll need a few key details from your electricity bill. The form below allows you to upload these, and we’ve included examples to show exactly what we need.
What to provide:
- Your NMI (National Metering Identifier) A 10–11 digit number that identifies your property’s connection point.
- Your Meter Number - Usually found on the last page of your bill — this helps us confirm meter compatibility.
- Your Electricity Usage Graph - Shows when and how much power your home uses so we can size your system accurately.
You’ll find examples below showing where these items appear on a typical power bill.
FRONT OF HOUSE - WHAT PHOTOS TO SEND US
Please upload a clear, zoomed-out photo of the front of your home to the form supplied for your picture uploads at the bottom of this page. This helps our team understand access, roof type, and the overall layout of your property.
Your photo should show:
- The full front of your home
- Whether the home is single or double storey
- The roof material (tile, tin, etc.)
- Driveway or access areas for installation
This image gives us an essential overview so we can plan safely and efficiently before your on-site consultation.
Battery Location Guidelines – What Photos to Send Us
To help us assess the best place for your battery we need photos of the locations you’re considering for installation.
Clear images make it easier for our team to confirm spacing, compliance, and suitability. Batteries are commonly installed in garages when available, but outdoor walls are also suitable depending on space and compliance.
See the example image and video below for guidance on spacing and recommended placement.
PLEASE PROVIDE
- A zoomed-out photo taken from as far back as possible to show the whole area
- A closer photo of the exact wall or space (e.g., a clear 2m x 2m section)
Please upload your photos to the form supplied for your picture uploads at the bottom of this page.
Electrican Switchboard – What Photos to Provide
Please upload clear photos of your main electrical switchboard so we can assess whether there is enough space to safely install your solar or battery system. These images should match the examples provided below.
Switchboards vary from home to home, so we’ve included three example layouts in your Welcome Pack. We’re looking to confirm there is 4–6 free spaces available to add your system.
If your board is full, we may need to install a sub-board or upgrade your main board to meet compliance and safety requirements.
See the video below for guidance on spacing and recommended placement.
PLEASE PROVIDE
- A zoomed-in photo showing all circuit breakers, safety switches, and their ratings
- A zoomed-out photo showing the entire board, surrounding area, and any nearby gas meters
Please upload your photos to the form supplied for your picture uploads at the bottom of this page.

Why Now Is the Smartest Time to Add a Battery or Upgrade Your Solar System
Rebates and incentives
- New Government Rebates began on 1st July 2025 and set to begin reducing from Jan 1st 2026. Average savings $6,200+ depending on size of battery needed.
- You can combine both State and Federal rebates — if eligible, most homes receive $2,500–$3,500 in Federal STC's (Small-scale Technology Certificates) plus:
– Battery rebate of $6,200 (also part of the STC's program)
– $1,400 VIC solar rebate - Join a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and earn $350/year by sharing stored energy with the grid
- Combined, these incentives can cut your battery payback time to just 4 years
- Our goal is to make your system cash-positive — paying less than your current power bills from the start.
How much are the rebates?
As a guide, approximate battery rebates are:
- 10kW : $3,096
- 15kW : $4,640
- 20kW : $6,192
- 30kW : $9,288
- 40kW : $12,384
- 50kW : $15,480
These rebates are set to drop by near 10% on Jan 1st 2026.
Rebates increase with battery size (up to a 50kW system). The standard rebate amount is $344 per usable kWh Batteries vary on the useable power. Eg; 90%, 95% or 100% useable
Estimated savings and payback times
- Average Savings: Between $3,000 and $5,000 per year on electricity bills.
- Payback Period:
Without rebates: 6–7 years
With rebates: As little as 4 years
This means your battery investment starts returning savings much sooner with the current rebates factored in.
Added benefits
- Sell excess power back to the grid
- Charge your battery during cheap off-peak hours
- Enjoy blackout protection with full home backup
- Gain control over rising energy prices and have peace of mind
