Powerwall is a rechargeable home battery designed to maximise energy independence, increase your savings on electricity bills and keep your home powered at night or when the grid goes down. Powerwall optimises your stored extra energy to maximise your savings. Earn a rebate for additional savings when you order and install a Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion.

Rebate Details

For further information regarding the rebate, review the following details:

• Rebate amount: $750 per Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion, up to $1,500 total
• Eligible models: Powerwall 3 and Powerwall 3 Expansion, can be applied to up to two Powerwall(s) per site
• Order time frame: November 6, 2025 – March 31, 2026
• Installation time frame: January 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
• Reward type: Virtual Visa® Reward Card1 sent by email

Eligibility

To be eligible for this offer, you must meet the following criteria:

Order and Registration

• Order Powerwall 3 or Powerwall 3 Expansion between November 6, 2025, and March 31, 2026.
• Place your order directly with a Tesla Certified Installer. 
• Register for the rebate through the rebate portal by March 31, 2026.

Installation and Connection

• Have your Powerwall(s) installed, connected and registered between January 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026.
• Submit the rebate request through the rebate portal by September 30, 2026.

Note: The rebate can be applied to up to two Powerwall(s) per Tesla Account and the associated installation address.

Request your Rebate

Access the rebate portal to register and submit your rebate request. 

From 1 May, the Tesla battery rebate reduces significantly — and the more batteries you install, the bigger the loss.
The rebate doesn’t just drop evenly. It steps down in tiers, meaning households installing multiple batteries are hit the hardest if they wait.

Here’s how the rebate changes:
1 Tesla battery (Before 1 May: $4,181
After 1 May: $3,367 Drop: ~19.5%)
2 Tesla batteries (Before 1 May: $8,362
After 1 May: $5,476 Drop: ~34.5%)
3 Tesla batteries (Before 1 May: $12,580
After 1 May: $6,105 Drop: ~51.5%)

What this means for you
The rebate reduction becomes more severe with each additional battery. If you’re planning a larger system — such as multi-phase homes that require multiple Tesla master batteries — delaying until after 1 May could mean losing thousands of dollars in rebate support.

Installing before 1 May allows you to:
Lock in the higher rebate rates
Maximise your return on investment
Reduce your up-front cost, especially for multi-battery systems.

In short, the sooner you install, the more you save — and the biggest savings are available to customers installing two or more Tesla batteries.
